Choosing your Award

You don’t have to choose an award at the start of your first Rescue 3 (UK) training course. You can attend your chosen courses, accumulate University Certificates and HE Credits and then transfer them into either the Advanced Certificate or Foundation Certificate.  If you know the training path you’ll be following you can enrol on the Advanced Certificate or Foundation Certificate at the start of your first course.

Current Rescue 3 Students

Although the Advanced Certificate & the Foundation Certificate are new developments they are designed for existing Rescue 3 (UK) students as well as for new students. An ‘accredited prior learning’ (APL) scheme is in place which will facilitate the transfer of students with existing Rescue 3 (UK) qualifications into the new scheme.
