Our Staff
Adventure Scotland started life in 1998 as a consortium of adventure activity providers. We were drawn together by common interest, a respect for each other’s skills and a commitment to a quality service. We all believed that what we did was in some way special –a belief we still hold.
Every member of our team is actively passionate about the outdoors and they are inspired by the activities, the environment and the people we work with.

Graeme Shilland came on board full-time in 2006 having been part of the Adventure Scotland family for a number of years. His time is split between helping to assist with the day to day running of the business, events, training programs and courses as well as delivery of a wide range of activities.Having studied in Aberdeen for an HND in Outdoor Sports Coaching, he is also qualified as a Rescue 3 International Swift Water Rescue Instructor, SRA Raft Trip Leader, BCU Level 3 Canoe Coach, SMBLT Mountain Bike Leader, SS Alpine Ski Leader and RYA Safety Boat.Graeme is a member of the staff crew and safety boat driver for the Moray Gig based in Findhorn. He is also a keen Telemark skier, sails, kayaks and generally enjoys playing outdoors (particularly in water).When he is not doing any of this –you will probably find him hurtling down the Cairngorm Ski road on his road bike –faster than most of us would like to drive our cars! |
