Our Staff
Adventure Scotland started life in 1998 as a consortium of adventure activity providers. We were drawn together by common interest, a respect for each other’s skills and a commitment to a quality service. We all believed that what we did was in some way special –a belief we still hold.
Every member of our team is actively passionate about the outdoors and they are inspired by the activities, the environment and the people we work with.

Mark Chadwick works for Adventure Scotland as a trainer for our Swift Water and Ropes courses.Mark has a HND in Outdoor Sports Coaching & Sports Development as well as the following qualifications: British Canoe Union Level 5 Aspirant Coach (Kayak), BCU Level 3 Coach (Sea ), BCU Level 2 Coach (Canoe), Mountain Instructor Certificate, RYA Dinghy Sailing Instructor and RYA Safety Boat Driver. Mark is also a keen skier and is a B.A.S.P. National Patroller.Mark’s love of the outdoors and of outdoor activities has taken him all over the world –both for work and play!His exploration of rock, ice & mountains has taken him to some beautiful & remote spots around the world such as: Spain, America, Italy, France, Norway and South Africa. |
