Occupational Safety Training

Looking after the safety and welfare of people in hazardous natural environments has for many years been our stock in trade. Allied to this our track record as coaches and trainers, along with our role as safety management consultants, places us in a unique position to supply this form of training.

We provide occupational safety training for those working in potentially hazardous environments such as:

· Environmental research & monitoring

· Power generation

· Education providers

· Forestry

· Farming

· Tourism

· Water services

· Remote or difficult terrain (steep ground, marshland etc)

Depending on your needs, we can also include training on navigation and survival skills for open water and remote locations.

We believe the best way to effectively prepare people for avoiding hazards or dealing with incidents is to introduce them to real experiences in the real environment under controlled conditions. This need not be an intimidating or uncomfortable experience, and can actually be great fun!

This is achieved by careful site selection, good safety management and by providing delegates with high quality specialised equipment.

We are able to provide targeted training designed to have maximum relevance to the working practices and environments in which your people are operating. In many cases we can deliver training locally thus reducing staff travel time and overnight commitments.

We usually recommend either one or two days of training dependent upon the extent of input required, this being informed by the nature of the working practices of employees.

Indoor sessions cover the theoretical elements, followed by practical sessions based at suitable outdoor sites.
